I wonder who the typical buyers of these small islands are. They aren't grand enough to be trophies you show off to your rich friends. You can't be self sufficient on them because there is no soil or fresh water. They are incredibly anti social. They aren't isolated enough for the bug out people, and they are too expensive for 99% of the population.

We started in 2008 and I am grateful every single day that we were able to.  Housing security isn't something I take for granted.  If we were starting now, we'd be moving out of the south west for sure.
