Is this the next BC Royal Museum of Wokeness? Destroy the 1800s emplacements?  Pull down the light house?

Meanwhile in the Ukraine they are sandbagging their statues to prevent damage, we cheerfully tear them down ourselves.

Life's a journey......so roll down the window and enjoy the breeze.

With recent events I was wondering when/if they’re going to reactivate Fort Rodd

Can't a few fake owls stop that? I hear they're pretty good at scaring away other birds.

Funny - we tried to keep the pigeons at my office away with a fake owl.  They just landed on it in an act of defiance.  It's now a decoration in the boss's office.

Catch yourself a wild owl and put it on a leash. That will work.

Well, maybe 20 years ago they took away the main artillery emplacement overlooking the channel and a few other nifty items (for scrap metal? for sale to a third world nation??).  Kinda makes the place look a bit scant, but the LightHouse is still a decent place to stomp around in, wouldn't like to see that go.
