You are not ready to help - that is your right. You consider people who left Ukraine to be cowards - this is your right. You have the right to do as you see fit. Our family has exactly the same right.

Something my Ukrainian friends told me that you won’t hear on the news is that many people in Donetsk are more ethnically Russian than Ukrainian. Many of them have a distrust of western Ukraine.
It’s not as cut and dry as another force invaded your homeland. These are disputed territories. Crimea was only given to ukraine in the 1950s. https://en.m.wikiped...nsfer_of_Crimea

^ Same with the Crimea. I have a number of friends with family in Crimea who were quite happy when the Russians took over and who now claim that life is much better. Despite what the MSM claimed was large scale voter fraud, most people in Crimea speak Russian and there has been much more investment in that region by the Russians then there ever was by the Ukrainian Government.

And taken by the Russians in the late 1700s from someone else.

Much of Europe is a seesaw of border changes. Some countries even disappeared for a time (like Poland).

Agreed. Imagine the challenges they are having now returning land to the groups that claimed they were there first!

Plus reparations for displacements that occurred in the 20th century. Europe is a mess.

Know it all.

Imagine when they start to restore European land to original groups through the International Court of Arbitration.  And then provide funding for new language instruction, new signage, place name changes, new textbooks, changes to the criminal codes reflecting past injustices, and opportunities for property tax payers to additionally contribute to all of the above.
