We’ll be spending NYE in the city this year, and I’m working on setting up a dinner on NYE in downtown/JB or thereabouts. It doesn’t have to be where we ring in the NY, just as long as we can sit down as a group. The challenge is I don’t yet know how many people will need to be accommodated but I’m guessing 10-ish.

Ended up counting and adjusting inventory at the grocery store for year end the last couple of days, so looks like I may make it until midnight after all!

2022 was great. Got Covid, became empty nesters, connected even more with my wife and l enjoyed a lot of quiet time around the house not doing much of anything, and we had some really great travel adventures in the last year!

I am finding the more we take on, the less I schedule myself to work and that has been really amazing this past year, and quite surprising! Not to say the workload is less, but as our teams continue to grow and develop, I am able to step back a little more and not be chained to five shifts a week.

2023 I think will be more of the same, already a few trips planned and we will find something fun to do in the fall after the silly season ends.
