An international circus show is coming to Victoria and Nanaimo.

 

The American Crown Circus and Circo Osorio has set up a massive tent at the Woodgrove Centre in Nanaimo, where performances will be held until Oct. 2.

Then, the circus show comes to the Mayfair Shopping Centre in Victoria from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9.

 

The family-friendly show includes acrobats, a motorcycle “globe of death” stunt cage, and other performances put on by professionals from across North America.

 

“Children and adults will be captivated as aerial artistry unfolds, motorcycles madness, acrobats defying the law of gravity inches from their seats,” reads the event’s website.

 

There will be two shows each day, except for on Oct. 9, when there will be one evening show – for a total of 11 shows over the course of the week.
