A lot of high profile personalities and seemingly atheist people become Christians on their death beds. Werner von Braun did, famously.

I think that’s just people in general. Better late than never! The thief on the cross was sure cutting it close, but I bet he’s glad he made his deathbed confession…

People are famously coherent and clear minded on their deathbeds

Yeah.

I suppose you give in to your corporeal whims, let go of social constructs, and start to believe there is more to having lived, than having gone through the motions, as you and you alone face the unknown. So realizing the next phase is known, must be comforting.

I’ve seen a few people die, not one of them found god at the last minute.

And even fewer of them find God afterwards.

I don’t think you can prove that any more than you can prove the inverse: that all of them found God afterwards, for better or for worse.

Atheism is a meme. None of the top minds in the world are strict materialists- to deny there is an immaterial or spiritual dimension is a very uninformed, narrow view. One that no intelligent person would subscribe to.

Imagine thinking you can limit everything that may exist to only what your human instruments can measure. lol

Atheism is every bit as real as as any god.

At least you admit it’s your religion (or object of worship). I can’t respect your belief in atheism, but I respect your intellectual honesty.

Atheism is NOT a religion. I worship nothing. All that matters is that I currently exist and at some point I will cease to exist. In the duration between these two, I simply try to do best I can.

The more I study this realm the more I see spiritualism at the very core of what our governments are custodians of, and the rites and rituals they maintain.

Being an architecture enthusiast I’ve learned that so much of what we interact with in our daily lives is part of a deep, spiritual ritual only visible to the initiated, hidden in plain sight if you will. Architecture in particular is a journey into the spiritual and ritualistic realm. Street layouts, street names, etc, also have deep meanings. Victoria is especially deeply interwoven into the occult.

Few things are by chance or happenstance. Locations in our own community are very sacred and named accordingly. Consider where the Jewish cemetery is located, on Cedar Hill Road (meaning protection, strength) at Ryan Street (meaning King), and Kings Road. Is the rise there, Cedar Hill at Hillside, the actual ‘Cedar Hill?’

Oh yeah, Cedar Hill and Ryan are joined at their nexus with ‘Fern’wood Road, also a symbol of protection.
