In the Cov? Say it isn't so.

For the record, after I left, I informed a security guard of the man's presence in the bank, that I felt threatened and ask that he call the cops to have the man removed.
Yes, it's early for a Christmas party but when you plan things a bit late, early it becomes. That and there was a bit of a staff consensus for an early get together to avoid conflicts with other Christmas gatherings.

Someone was told to leave the downtown library the other day as patrons were complaining of his smell. He responded that he was a wizard and had been told to stop washing.

Under the covered fancy bike parking at Yates and Douglas there was a small group hanging out today at noon - some guy had a sign saying something about a foot infection. I think it’s important to keep those dry.
Ya, that group that hangs there makes that bike parking area real welcoming, not. Ya, as if I'm parking my bike in there.

I’m all for regular work get-togethers but I wish they were at some other time of year.

I think at X-mas is the only time of year people feel obligated to go. I don't know, lots of times it just seems awkward.

He should've been responded to by calling the men in the white coats. He sounds like the lights are on upstairs, but no one's home.

I think the tents are more for show. The tents were still there yesterday.
I've walked by several times at different times, different days and only once saw one person.
Im wondering if these could be those upper class homeless folks sleeping at home or in the new model van parked beside the shiny tents .

This issue of homelessness due to exorbitantly high rents is a bit of a myth.....if you explore the following link you'll find that, actually, Victoria is quite affordable when compared to many other cities in the world....http://www.businessi...ckholm-sweden-1

Been saying this for years. There is no shortage of housing in Victoria, there is only a shortage of housing at the prices that some Victoria residents think that they should have to pay.

Many of the folks that are currently homeless in Victoria wouldn't have the wherewithal to pay rent even if they had the cash in their wallets, and would be far more likely to spend whatever available funds came their way on drugs or booze.
The presumption that homelessness is a "funding issue" in Victoria seems somewhat misplaced.
I'm not saying that there isn't a limited percentage of homeless folks in Victoria that "just need a place to live", but the elephant in the room in Victoria is that homelessness is far more a mental-health/drugs/booze/miscreant issue than it is any sort of rent money issue.

One tent left and the bus is gone.

Victoria made it to Live Leak starring Bruce Dean!!!! https://www.liveleak...=dfe_1511406420
That clip needs to make the rounds again next fall before the municipal elections. People need to be reminded at what their so-called civic leaders allowed to happen.
