Site says $87, then you click the link and it says $94.03, then you select the item and hit check out, and are charged $98.38.

Tariffs?

Anyway are you supposed to share that bucket?

Even I don’t even eat $100 worth of FOOD at any one sitting.

Come with me to a nice restaurant in London, you could go away hungry after spending $100.

I bet Shuck Taylor’s does a killer crab bucket.

I’ve only been for the happy hour which is the best deal in town for oysters and they are excellent. No wonder they have a 4.9 on google reviews.

Our last time in London was 2017. We stayed in a super little hotel recommended by Rick Steves. Had our own kitchen and as groceries were cheaper than here, we did pretty well. The best beef I've ever eaten, Scottish dry-aged beef. I would never want to eat out in big cities and with food allergies, doing our own food is preferable.

That would be the way to go I guess, although we went to borough market and groceries there were not cheap 32 pounds for a pound of sirloin steak, about $60cdn.

Oof that’s double or so the cost here for higher quality sirloin.

Yeah, I don't know how people afford to eat here, it's at least double what it is in Canada and the salaries sure aren't that much higher. Rents for a one bedroom are about &2000, so about $4k.

As hot butter poured over a heaping seafood bucket, starring crab, elsewhere at Ship Point, people danced, children chased bubbles, and others learned sea facts.

BC CrabFest "doubled again in size" in its third year, says president of BC Crab Co., Heather MacLeod, and Ship Point was a "fantastic" new setting for the June 29 festival to flourish.

"Being in the Inner Harbour gives people that sense of exactly where their food is coming from," MacLeod said.

With around 5,000 attendees last year, the festival outgrew its previous location of Banfield Park. MacLeod estimates over 10,000 people attended this year.

I had hoped with the Chinese seafood tariff, spot prawn and Dungeness prices would come down.
