The Wooden Shoe has been in Victoria since 1956 and in our current location in Quadra Village since the mid sixties.

With an excellent selection of new and well-established products, you will be amazed at what we have to offer. We carry over 75 different kinds of licorice and over 20 kinds of Dutch Cheese. My husband has bought a lot of items there, esp. around Christmas for chocolate items. We still miss the Conti deli which was on Government St. in the 1970s and 80s. One time we met the owner while we were walking down the street in Bavaria. He used to personally travel over to Vancouver every week to select a lot of the meat items.
