Courtenay-based Penny Lane has expanded into the south Island real-estate/property and strata management market with a new office at Haultain Corners. There is quite a lot of demand for property management services in the Capital, as some firms are getting quite large and boutique firms sometimes struggling to scale. I suspect Penny Lane will do really well on the south Island, and they can help local developers doing work up-Island to manage their properties, something that I get asked about relatively frequently as developers expand north.

So they're coming to the city from beneath those blue suburban mid-island skies? That explains why I've been hearing and seeing so much of them. I thought it was very strange, but now you've explained it.
