A misplaced colon can be a painful issue in contract law. You definitely want to eliminate them whenever possible.

I was hit with a jury summons earlier this year.

 

I was fine with the idea, but was excused after contacting them.

 

Due to the diabetic pills I take, I can't do  jury duty without multiple visits to a bathroom when court is in session.

Worse is I was a witness. I was glad that was resolved out of court….
