Now that I think of it, will the proposed building have windows on the it's north side? If not then we're in for a nasty six storey blank wall which will be permanently visible from this location.

Will this project include parking or a bicycle storage room...?
No parking, big bike room.
What's happening here, anybody know?

It is moving ahead and should start construction this year
Anybody know what the current status is? All the sales signage is still up.

By the way, yes, I am a recent lurker and first time poster - great board for a first-time condo buyer and very interesting reads by all. Thanks for keeping this board up and running!

Can you confirm when the last time was that you had spoken to Mike Janes? This project may no longer be sold as condos, or maybe it will contain a combination of rental and market units now?

Times Colonist reported a few days ago that this project is being revived by Three Point, with Number 10 architects replacing Hillel as architects of record.

I'm pleased to report there is finally action here. The current plan is a six-storey wood frame tower with 59 rental units as well as the existing commercial streetfront.

Great news! I've walked by that sign on Fort St. so many times over the past few years thinking of how great it would look if it actually went ahead.
