District of Saanich has an online survey asking about future development, growth, secondary suites, greenspaces, etc. Time to let your voices be heard.

I filled it out. Suggested making Shelbourne two lanes like they did with Fort - it is too narrow anyways. And work towards making Shelbourne and CedarHill Crossroads more walkable. If they flipped those two malls on the east side of the street around so all the parking was in the back and there were condos above with nice sidewalks it would be a pretty nice little village down there.

I also said it would be nice if there was densification closer to UVic. Like that ugly strip SE of the Firehall.

This survey is for Saanich planning so it would fall under the "Urban Design" forum.

The survey is also already under discussion in this thread: http://vibrantvictoria.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=209
