There was a letter to the editor about how slow the loading was. Many people had to wait in the rain, only one door was open and the show had already started. Poor planning it sounded like.

I read that letter. The line was long but fast.
We got there 15 minutes before the thing started and got in on time.
The Secret Service, or whatever it was, stopped to check my bag.

Tonight was a good show. I was a little surprised how good the acoustic guitar sounded in SOFMC since I heard Sunday's sound for the show didn't fair too well. Also a warning to all for future concerts, they cut off beer sales at 8:45!

We went to the Sunday show -- it was great! I know people have said it was too loud, but from our floor seats, it was just perfect. :-) Gord Downie was fantastic!

Yeah they did that for The Who in Van as well. Shitty.

I don't get it either. If you're going to drink, this is the optimum time. However, I would say their insurance companies might have something to do with it. Maybe.

I've never got a straight answer from Aramark on the beer thing. Yup, show started at 7:30, Hip on at 8:15 or so, beer off at 8:45. Ridiculous.

I made an announcement to a full house at the bar just prior to 7:30..." OK, folks. You now have a very important choice to make. You can leave now and go see the back-up band, The Sadies, and stand in line for $7 beer, or you can stay here until The Hip take the stage at about 8:15, and drink $3.50 beers. I know you'll make the right decision." 8)

I was at both concerts and they were both great (although the Monday night was slightly better thanks to 38 years old, long time running, scared, c'mon everybody and Locked). But anyways, The interior of the SoFC looked slightly better than since I was last there in April 2005. There is an echo at the back of the arena that you can only notice from certain positions that is really annoying. Other than that, I was quite impressed that Victoria could pull of such a successful two-night stand by one band.

How could you pass on the Sadies just for a few beers? Of course, I'm not a fan of beer. I am, however, a fan of good music and if I'd paid that much for a concert, I'd want to get the most out of it.

Hey guys, Dinosaur Jr. are playing at Sugar coming up. Probably the loudest live band ever, surprised they're still around actually. Who else will be there?

I don't know if there's enough hemp left in this town for him after Snoop's visit.

After smoking the green for so many years Willie's hair is actually 100% hemp so there's no need to worry about that.

Speaking of green, do you think Willie will play a round or two while he's here?
