It’s been somewhat of a rough year for the TC since the transition to printing by Black Press, for sure.

Know it all.
Citified.ca is Victoria's most comprehensive research resource for new-build homes and commercial spaces.

It surprises me how many people still want a printed newspaper. E-News is just fine by me, if for no other reason than it doesn't come off on my hands.  ;)

I don’t always like frying my eyes on a bright screen.

because until this fall they never did time-sensitive printing maybe.

the tc moved their printing there to save money and that probably does not allow for the tc to buy them a big back-up power system to run all that equipment.   it's probably not like just keeping some lights on in terms of power needed for the equipment.

So you can print your own paper.

Can lift a 100-year-old tree straight out of the ground with one tentacle and do.

yes, but the claim that this is the first time they've not been able to run the paper.  It could be, I just see nothing to verify it.  If so that's pretty cray.

oh i'm just guessing.  outside of labour disputes i don't think it has failed since the 70's at least.  (1970's i mean before that i can't say).

As it was an emergency I printed and delivered what I could of Vibrant Victoria with what ink and paper I had.
