I saw this  advertisement in the Province this weekend for the 2012 PNE prize home.

Seems the winner from Steveston didnt want it as she said in the original interview.

Looks like a good deal. Or is it?

It is priced less than what they claimed it was worth

I am really out of the loop in terms of million+ real estate at Sun Peaks....what was the claimed worth of it during the lottery?

That is a pretty decent spread but it is impossible to put a specific value on any home until it is placed before the market.  There must be some fine wording associated with advertising price homes and their respective values?

I think they cover that with two words, "estimated value", which are usually pretty prominent in their advertising.

Every value of every item for sale is whatever the buyer wants it to be and not what the seller wants it to be. A pencil is only worth as much as I'm willing to pay for it. Business 101 :)

Not sure if there is a PNE thread.  Anyway, the park will have 19+ late Fridays from 7pm, and you will be able to roam freely with beer, wine, spirits between rides.
