Its unfortunate that many historical buildings have been demolished in the past and the only way to revive them is to build a model by hand or create a computer rendering. Using old insurance maps and copies of the original plans, I created the following renderings.

The first bunch is of the 1947 expansion. These are copies of the original plans I found in the Victoria archives. These didnt have side drawings, just floor plans, so I had to guess on height.

Here are the interior shots

Did you have any photos from which to model the interiors?

unfortunately no.

the archives may have photos and I know of several railfans that took pics of the E&N that may have or know of someone who has interior shots.

^ Nice work. I like the 3D fly through with the period vehicles.

I know your work is focused on the building, but as a car guy I have to ask. Do you draw the vehicles or get them from a data base?

Very cool.

Know it all.

Nice. If you could re-create pre-1940s downtown in its entirety that would be great. No rush.

I would like to see a model of town if none of the tram lines were removed and were still in operation today!

^^ Could you imagine though virtually walking (here you go G-Man virtual sidewalking) through town in the early days say around 1900-1920.

Find all the pictures we could and sew them all together and make a 3D tour with Aaron's machine.

Aaron, if you're willing to share your Sketchup file I could do some photoreal renders.

Yeah, he said he was working on it.

When did he say whatever he didn't say?

Better still if we had 3D fly overs and fly throughs of everything we would never have to build a lot of new stuff.

You could visit it all right online sort of like a Rick Steves program, and save a lot of travelling time.

You need to read between the (rail) lines.
