Is it just me, or is this project in the heart of "Crackton" much more appealing than the latest proposal for the Northern Junk property?

Revised plans are up on the Dev Tracker! https://tender.victo...Number=REZ00605
Changes appear very minor. Massing is the same, some minor adjustment to setbacks on the Mason Street side, changes to the public realm on Pandora and Mason. Still 10 storeys though! Down to 148 units from 150.

This one is going to Advisory Design Panel on May 23

If this comes to a vote at Council before the October election, I don't see it getting approved as a condo project; rental maybe.

Something that I didn't notice before... apparently the City has requested the developer coordinate with CREST on providing space for them in the building

I don't suppose the fact that half* of the emergency calls in the CoV are for the property across the street have anything to do with the request for CREST space here.

There are updated plans on the Dev Tracker, but the changes don't appear to affect the height, square footage, or number of units. I am pleasantly surprised that this has survived ADP with no change to the height!

Save-On-Foods, 600 upcoming residences set new course for North Park's and Harris Green's Pandora Avenue

New plans in yesterday, changes look to be minor and affecting the interior of the building, specifically bicycle parking/storage and some of the vertical circulation. The Dev Tracker file is here: https://tender.victo...Number=REZ00605
Hopefully these are the last few tweaks before the project goes to Council.

I still think this would make a lot more sense as a rental project.

These are still planned as market condos (not rentals)?
I don't see anything to suggest otherwise, but who knows what will happen with the new Council

that's interesting because I thought the market for condos was dropping. Prices are definitely flat with a slight downward trend

I still think this one would stand a better chance of approval if it were a purpose-built rental.

Some below market rentals are now part of this proposal:
Fifteen units with below-market rent are being promised as part of a new 148-unit highrise condo building in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue across from the Our Place Society drop-in centre. Kang and Gill Construction is offering the units to rent at 15 per cent below the market rate in its proposal for a 11-storey mixed-use residential over ground floor commercial building at 926 and 932 Pandora Ave...

And apparently now it's 11 storeys?

It's 11 on a technicality. 10 storeys of actual building, and then an access stairwell and rooftop mechanical room are the 11th storey.
