they are asking for a msssive parking variance. normally would require 133. they are asking for that to be dropped to 23.

200+ bike lockers. a shared car. A bus shelter built into the building.

Crikey, do my eyes deceive me or will this place be flaunting goofy siding as per other recent projects like the apartments at Capital Park, the new place down in Cook Street village, and the Pandora/Vancouver/Mason building? It's not so easy to tell from the rendering but I'm pretty much expecting it now if there's even the slightest suggestion of it.

Now that I re-evaluate them with a clearer head, I'm thinking the siding looks the most out of place on the Pandora/Vancouver building. It's not bugging me so much anymore on those Capital Park rental apartments.

Nah, the siding still looks atrocious on the Capital Park project.

Maybe I'm just ranking them in my mind. Pandora/Vancouver is by far the most glaring to me. Not just because it looks all wrong for the location and for the design of the building, but also because it's a lot of coverage.

^Meanwhile, the very same siding looks fine on the little building along Mason Street. All the more reason why something different should have been used along Pandora and Vancouver. Break things up.

Lots of activity going on on this site lately.  Right now there is some tall contraption pile driving? or something.  (Sorry, not up to speed on my building terms!)

Don't know if it is still part of the remediation process, or if this is considered under construction now.
