Here's a 'first look' at the Kiwanis Village redevelopment on Mallek Crescent (for some reason, there are no renderings on Dev Tracker?)... this is from the ADP report on Wed Feb 24:

Note- the proposed Kiwanis Village building features 78 units of affordable seniors' rentals...

Speaking of affordable housing... drove by the Vernon Ave project near Uptown and construction (or demolition) appears to be underway.

Can you speak to which part of the land is underway, and what it was that crews were doing? I haven’t driven that particular stretch of Blanshard in years!

The sidewalk was being tore up roughly in the area of the orange line... TBH drove by quickly and cant quite recall how far along or exactly where the sidewalk was being tore up...  but ill take a better look next time I drive by.

 

The shaded yellow area is where all the heavy equipment was located which makes sense as the buildings were recent tore down. )2019 and 2017 imagery below)
