I don't think I've ever seen this sort of display at a construction site before.

I think 1969 could be their address on Oak Bay Avenue.

I phoned abstract. It is 1969 - the address of the site.

Here's a better rendering of the building than we've seen in this thread so far -

One of the best examples of post-war urbanity in the CoV outside of downtown.

I hope you pointed out their error since it clearly NOT 1969. Anyone involved with that project should be embarrassed.

I'm still liking the idea that the 1-9-6-9 numbers are supposed to resemble people doing the "walk" part of "Village Walk".

Sweet. If somebody could go down there and dress them up a bit to look more like vintage Fisher-Price little people that would be great.

Nope. It is clearly: 2 15 2 10

But seriously, you cannot simply randomly create a new interpretation of an existing numbering system. Cute idea but poorly implemented.

They should add 24 7 at the end of it.

Actually it's a reference to the American Indian Film Institute.

1 = A
9 = I
6 = F
9 = I

Looks who's clever now, fellas.

Now in living colour. Which version do you prefer?

Is it 1969, or am I rusty with my numerals?
