With connections to Zambri's, Pig, this is no fast-food joint, owners say

A Bigwheel will be rolling into town this fall as the combined forces of Zambri's restaurant and Pig BBQ open the city's newest burger joint in Cook Street Village.
Bigwheel Burger will open its doors in November in what was once a laundromat at 341 Cook St.
McNeil said they went to burger joints all over the U.S. to find the right kind of style and feel for their restaurant and found some inspiration in the Shake Shack in New York.
"We will be freshly grinding the meat every day, using triple A organic cuts and simple, good, local ingredients," he said, noting they also intend to offer value by providing a burger, fries and a shake for $12.
"Basically this will be a throwback," he said. "We want to keep this simple, good, healthy and affordable."
The menu will offer a few variations of their burger, a veggie burger, fries, poutine, salads, shakes and homemade cookies for ice cream sandwiches. It will be licensed to sell beer and wine.
