Don't give up on it yet it will probably have a fountain

Which can double as a baptismal font.

Tower Crane will be erected tomorrow.

Crane will be identical to the one at Gorge/Admirals

Suffice it to say the (waaaay premature) opening in November - driven I understand by the need for the ownership group to generate working and operational capital - and subsequent Keystone Kops-like on-boarding of new residents was a complete s*** show, is a gross understatement. This one is a mess.

I know at the time of the "opening" that many suites weren't remotely close to finished, elevators weren't all working and they got nailed by inspectors before Christmas for purchasing used kitchen equipment from a Vancouver supplier. Needless to say they were ordered to replace it all with "new".

Buildings can receive partial occupancy as long as life safety systems are installed throughout.

Are the suites not pre-wired for services?

Is it true that residents that were due to move in ended up in hotels while they waited for occupancy? Is it possible management did the math and realized a fine in developer-friendly Langford was cheaper than several hotel rooms?

So fire and emergency signage must be in place but potentially unsafe areas like gravel driveways and tools laying around are OK?

I think that stuff can actually vary by municipality. Just different policy.
