Those three are the nephews of John Olson, right? Or am I confused?

I love the reference to "first wives," like there were too many to count.

EVERYONE that attends will receive an extremely limited-edition commemorative numbered print, specially commissioned just for this event.  An amazing, and very rare keepsake.

Did anyone notice the sign on the wall in the picture of post #9.  "Unlawful to drink while standing".  ?  Was this really a law?

^Well it used to be unlawful to carry your drink between tables IIRC so that is not out of the realm of belief.

It's still illegal to have your honey bees cause disturbances around your neighbour's pond in Oak Bay, so ...yeah.

Know it all.

That's still the rule for restaurants (except in the designated lounge area).

On ancient forgotten rules and regs, years ago a student at Oxford U in England unearthed something saying he was entitled to have a pint of ale on his desk while writing an exam. He showed up and asked for his pint but was told no...because he was not wearing his sword!
