Linda at Nick's in the little plaza at Fort & Foul Bay is a really good cutter. Never a bad cut and it always grows in well. $16 for geezers. And Linda is fun and upbeat, too.

Cliff is okay, but he used to work for the best barber in town, James who owns the Western Gentleman near Tillicum. In the strip mall with Mr. Tubbs, Marble Arch, etc. James is the man - you can tell him I sent you, but it won't help!

I think it's $14 for a cut, I always leave $20 anyways. He's a busy man, worth the wait, bare bones shop but the cuts are great.

Cash only!!

Matt.

Been to many shops.  James is the best!  Wish he would open up earlier, he opens at 9am.

Since most barbers deal in cash, there are no records of how many cuts a day they are doing, so that $20 can often go right into the pocket.

Bingo I hope you really don't think it's that easy to hide money from "the man"?
Predictive text and a tiny keyboard are not my friends!

The tax man is always watching, we remember the story of Jimmy

Fort Street barber fined $100,000 for tax evasion

The owner of a Fort Street barbershop has been fined $100,000 after being found guilty in Victoria Provincial Court of two counts of income tax evasion and eight counts of GST evasion.

James has finished his BCIT training and is now working as a home inspector.  He still owns the shop but has hired on someone to replace him.  I went a couple of months ago and Bo did a great job!

The training is the same...look for knob and tube wiring in the attic and see if the roof is leaking.

I am not sure if this business qualifies as a Barber Shop or not, but it might be close.

I love the artwork in their logo.
