Hmmm, is there virtually no way they could make a waterfront route out of this?
Bah, maybe not. My tram will work better. My tram will run south of Dallas Road, to Douglas, then along the western edge of the park, and then it has to go down the hill to the bus station. No return loop through James Bay. Single track with about 5 sidings for passing. It's single mid-route stop is at the commercial centre at Douglas and Dallas, so the timing for passing is pretty well coordinated. My tram does not have overhead wires, it's powered by the "third rail" concept, like THIS.
Or the Harbour authority ought to invest in, or work towards getting a private operator to get a decent sized boat to ferry people in, maybe about a 200 passenger vessel. It whips from Ogden Point to Ship Point.
