I think Abstract has these showrooms at all of their projects. One is still positioned on Rockland for Emerson.

Upscale. Plywood, not OSB.

Good eye.

The balconies on the OB Ave side are small and sit almost above the sidewalk. Building setback looks like about 6" (joking). That's a busy corner and residents on the OB Ave side will enjoy buses decelerating and accelerating when the traffic light changes.

Four units remain out of the 22-unit total, I've been told.

This sat for quite a while.  I like the design though.  The previous building sat with minimal setbacks and I was shocked at the incredibly suburban design initially proposed.  This version has similar setbacks to the previous building and actually celebrates the fact that it's a corner building.

Is it just me or is this going a bit slow in terms of the framing?  It's taking like a month per floor.

I am guessing someone had trouble finding their compass & protractor which delayed getting that curved wall just right.

It appears that most framing is now complete for this development.

Some of the exterior brickwork is now in place, the project will probably be ready for occupancy by July...

This project is now sold out.

As a side note, a penthouse unit of approximately 1,300 square feet was being marketed at approximately $1.3 million.  Assuming the unit sold without a price reduction, Abstract was able to obtain $1,000 per square foot (the buyer's price per square foot would be higher assuming GST of $65,000 and a property transfer tax of $24,000, bringing the total paid to $1.389 million net of all other closing costs).
