Ladies and Gentlemen

Considering this James Bay location to rent a place for a while as we scout the area. Any thoughts or comments greatly appreciated.

Regards :)

That is a cool building. In the winter it is a quiet area however in the summer, being across the street from Fishermen's wharf makes it very busy.

Visit my blog at: https://www.sidewalkingvictoria.com

It has a whole new look!

The big sequel to the funky Mosaic in Harris Green. I've only seen photos of the inside but it looks cool.

With a nice park across the street, lots of food at the Wharf, and a bus stop at your door step. Not a bad place to start out.

Checked out the ground floor sales suite when they built the Reef and just as these units originally hit the market: very funky (read "cool") interior. Large suites, and lots of exposed HVAC etc. Had a kind of retro modern-industrial vibe. Huge windows, big decks especially on the upoer floors and a great location especially if you work downtown or in the JB area/legislative precinct. As I recall at the time that demo suite was going for about $450K-ish. If I were single or we were a couple with no kids and pets I'd definitely kick the tires assuming you want the d/t urban lifestyle...

^That must have been a large ground floor suite for $450,000. Starting prices at the time ranged from $160,000 to $1.2 million.

It is an awesome building and a great neighbourhood. You would do well to be located at The Reef.

I've been inside one of the units and it's high quality.

"Huge". Two levels and for comparative purposes I own a 2-level 1300s/f condo in Fairfield - which itself is very large - but that is smaller than the display unit I saw at the Reef.

I looked at a unit in there one time, it was very cold and dark on the north side of the building, IIRC.

Life's a journey......so roll down the window and enjoy the breeze.
