Indeed, Colwood confirms it issued a development to Onni. We can expect to see approximately 200-to-250-units as part of the first phase of the first development component. Completion for the first phase is scheduled for 2020, and, presumably, will incorporate a remediation (or removal?) of the underground component that is the lasting legacy of the previous development proposal that stalled.

An interesting article regarding the Onni Group:

Vancouver developer pre-sells condos for “cheaper than in Canada” in Hong Kong, boasts of “pricing ordinary Canadians out of the housing market”

Vancouver developer Onni is pre-selling the upcoming 1335 Howe condominium at a Hong Kong fair for prices “cheaper than if bought in Canada,” while boasting about pricing ordinary Canadians out of the housing market.

“Every buyer who has successfully purchased the onni project at a fair this weekend has a special discount, which is cheaper than buying in Canada,” the Facebook page for the event reads[1]

^Fake news. Onni had nothing to do with that presentation and the company that did has apologized for misrepresenting the facts.

The more foreigners that buy in Vancouver, the more the tax dollars pour in.

People need to realize we live in a post modern globalist world now. Provinces, countries and cities are businesses and you are an uneducated right wing bigot if you have a problem with that. Check your priveldge

Hopefully Onni does a decent job on this one. They don't exactly have a reputation for quality here in Vancouver.

Nob-Hill.jpg
A nearly 500-unit, multi-building condominium project is coming soon to Wilfert Road at Nob Hill Road (pictured) in Colwood, one of several significant development undertakings at the Colwood Corners precinct on the region's West Shore. As part of the Wilfert Road project, Nob Hill Road (at-right) will be incorporated into the new community and closed off.

Or probably more accurately, built as planned.

Now hold on negative nellies. Over the last couple of years just at Colwood Corners they built the Holiday Inn, a five-storey rental apartment, the Lee Valley complex, the health centre along Goldstream, a six-storey seniors rental is underway as is a new oil change place on Wale Road, and the Royal Bank/Rexall complex. That’s not bad.

Pretty good for an edge suburb, indeed.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out, the rooftop gardens look great in the renderings.
