I find it to be a very good restaurant, but go at lunch! The same great food but at a much cheaper price than they charge at dinner.

Anniversary, birthday, or special occasion G-Man!?

It was the Anniversary there Zoomer.

It was a great meal. They were really busy for a monday night. I had a glass of wine but the wine list was as thick as a bible, so it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted. I had the Char - Grilled Pork Tenderloin on potatoes with Tiger Prawns. I won't try to put down the name. It was awesome. My wife had the Halibut special wich was a huge halibut steack covered in a blackberry sauce. I also had a triple liquer creme brulee and my wife had the Chocolate cheesecake. Both were very good and the dessert is inexpensive. Overall I give the meal the double T-UP. Very good! :)

Il Terrazzo brings you over some of their tapenade with bread before you even order, and you can keep getting refills, all for free. The best tapenade I've ever had, by far. Too bad they won't sell you a jar of it to take home.

I ate there when I was in town a while ago...great place! I also saw the author M.G. Vassanji at the next table over, so that was fun.

Went there last week and had a couple of fantastic meals. Overall, the service was very good, especially the support staff. The server could have been more attentive. Mrs. West's wine glass wasn't refilled and that's a crime worthy of corporal punishment around here. the bill came to $115 including alcohol.

I love this place. Great atmosphere and amazing food. It's always packed full every time I go there for dinner.
They have a lunch menu that is cheaper and still great.

I like it, too. They are consistently good year in, year out.
Never had a bad experience there. The wait staff are among the best in town, properly trained and attentive without being smarmy.
Not re-filling the wine glass? A flogging is in order!

One of my favorites.. the atmosphere cannot be beat. Great wine and food, easy to go a bit overboard. The terrace seating with the fireplace is wonderful.

Here's an article I like that takes the position against waiters refilling your wine glass.

This Monday, November 7th, Il Terrazzo will donate 100% of their proceeds to HarbourSide Rotary, to celebrate 24 years in business...  best to make a reservation now.

A number of years ago I took some out-of-town (and out-of-country) guests to Il Terrazzo. These folks were used to some fairly sophisticated dining and they were very impressed by what was delivered. IT continues to serve Victoria well.

All very good to know as we just booked our staff Christmas party: its signed and sealed now just hoping I-T can "deliver", as its been a very long time since I've personally been there. Liking the comments thus far though....

Maybe. I did search. But that function here sucks.
