It's also being noted now that the alleged suspect never worked there, the assault happened at a different bar, unrelated to Warehouse, and the victim never asked anyone to target any business.

Pretty solid execution. I dropped in yesterday evening and I can see this being a very well received bar/diner.

Reports suggest this guy uses the same ruse often on Tinder, pretending to manage a bar, and offering jobs.  Mostly on the Mainland.

Each time I come to this thread I think "maybe this time there will be actual information on the new restaurant". Alas, it doesn't seem very likely.

Saw a fight there yesterday afternoon. Some lady lunged at another woman thinking she was getting the stare down from the victim. A couple of us had to get involved to stop the aggressor, but her boyfriend sure helped by putting his girlfriend (the attacker) into a headlock and dragging her out of the bar. And she was a big girl. I'm amazed her punch didn't knock out the victim.

El F has staff from several places helping things get established here, including folks from Montreal, who said they've never seen that sort of thing on the opening day (key word being "day" time) at any of their restaurants.

Nice to see the retraction of the 1's. Tried to go for lunch today, was closed today for the "real" grand opening was tonight.

Which is really saying something, since they have only been open 3 or 4 days.  Darcy's Pub has 52 reviews, total.  Fiamo 140.  The Local 202.  Hawk & Hen 36.  New Asian Village 69.  Lucky Bar 425.

So I had that Crispy Mac & Cheese add Bacon, and the other half had the Mushroom Swiss Burger with side salad; three beer, total $33.46. Quite decent food. I have had $17 dollar Mac & Cheese and can say this one was better. Could of been warmer. Other half quite pleased with the burger!

Other figures they are working anywhere from 50-75% food cost, depending on item (has 30 years previous F&B management experience)
