There seems to be more activity at the old Douglas Street Canadian Tire location (2959 Douglas Street) lately, does anyone have knowledge of what will be going into this site?

Hi Kathleen,
We have a thread on Canadian Tires stores at http://vibrantvictor...ictoria/page-19
I will be merging your question into the thread, and any immediate responses soon. Just wanted to make sure you knew where it would pop up

Might be old news or dead news but it seems like it could work there.

^ Careful with the service shop at Hyundai. They may be the sleaziest in the city.

The service people perhaps. Giving the techs a bad name unfortunately.
I know one of the senior techs there and I take my car to his place for minor work that doesn't require brand-specific knowledge. Oil changes, that sort of stuff.

Why are we talking Hyundai on a Canadain Tire thread that was going to be merged with the other CT thread?

Becuase Hyundai considered taking over the CT space on Douglas.
Hyundai (can someone please, please change this company's name to something most of us can spell in one try?) just setup shop on the Westshore.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been going there just because I own a Hyundai.
When I owned one I took it there for service once. After that I drove up to Duncan to have it serviced. Good techs, don't try to rip you off and give you a loaner car.

I'm sorry, I don't understand this site well. Will the question be at the link you sent or is it just assumed that people should talk there? Thanks!

No no, you're good. It's just a note that we will be merging the two threads together as they're on the same topic. It'll all makes sense when we do it (newest posts will still appear at the very end of the thread).

It would probably be faster if Canadian Tire opened up a store on Douglas Street.
