What's the definition of "able-bodied"?

Depends on how you answer the question at the gate....are you white, male, and are not attracted to same sex partners?

This game we are a part of is a very distasteful excercize in free publicity by a fellow named Shiraz Higgins. Here let me help you out a little www.buildingtheroom.com

There now don't bother us any more with your derogatory white antics. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Let's just wait a while and see what happens here. The horse is out of the barn now. Let's just see how this social experiment works out for Shiraz & Co. We can follow that here if the thread is still active.

Surely they have annoyed someone else. Maybe they haven't. Maybe it will bring the Roxy back to life for a brief moment before it goes back to sleep or gets hit with a bulldozer.

I just can't see how the maligning of someone's race or sexual orientation could be good for business.

For the final time cigendered has NOTHING to do with sexual orientation. It's about gender identity.

Well it's a new word to most people. Might take 40 years for us to get used to it.

I never figured out how social justice is derived from more money in the promoters pocket. Perhaps I am too old to understand.

I think it is incumbent on the LGTxxx community to self-correct these types of individuals. There are many groups who have rightly fought for decades to garner respect and acceptance only to have it continually undermined by yahoos who want to try and take things too far for personal benefit. In most cases the groups don't act to reign in their outliers as they are afraid that they will alienate some of their base.  The net result though is that they start to lose the support they have fought so hard to gain.

Suggested Price: $15 GA/ $10 discounted price (for people who are not Cisgender Hetero Able-Bodied White Males or Foreign Buyers (non-Canadian citizens))

I wasn't referring to the term cisgender (by the way you spelled it wrong) I was referring to the term " Hetero" which does refer to sexual orientation.

http://www.urbandict...php?term=Hetero

Used as a reply to someone who uses gay as an insult and believes they are cool for doing so.

Passport or birth certificates are required.  And no, everyone has to show it, they do not discriminate on this policy by your look or accent.

While technically true, transgender is generally put in the same group as gay, lesbian, bi... so there is a connection.

I'm probably giving too much credit here, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe, just maybe, these guys have not only generated a bit of publicity, but perhaps have actually driven a point home. Even the most annoyed of us should be able to pause for a minute and think:

"man, if I find this kind of unfair discrimination this offensive -- when I don't even have the slightest interest in attending the damn show in the first place, just imagine what if must be like to encounter real discrimination, like being denied housing opportunity because of my skin color, or the ability to get married because of my sexual preference. That would really suck."

Or maybe not. Either way we (many of us) get to return immediately to not worrying about this sort of thing actually affecting us on a daily basis, which is pretty nice.

I think the whole thing could have been avoided if they advertised something like "Those who identify as a minority receive a 50% discount" or something along those lines.

But then again that would not have generated all this noise about their even. I'm still half convinced we've all been worked and this is a parody.

Oh like me! I live in Victoria, but I am not a millionaire. Minority status!
