SJW comedians can't be funny. It's just a fact. Humour requires irreverence

Nothing like a little bit of reverse discrimination for SJW's to show their agenda has nothing to do with equality or justice. Generalising and demonising a whole group is exactly what they are 'fighting' against isnt it?

Not the sharpest knife in the block.....

This MUST be a joke. I mean, these are comedians after all. I imagine some of them can't wait to poke fun at some sucker who throws down a twenty at the door without thinking twice.

Hey. Alright, slow your roll there Mr Kick Ass. Definitely come see the show with your friends but getting all violent-threateny isn't becoming to your station. Justice pricing is A: hilarious. B: presented by "Made You Look Productions" and sir you took the bait like a boss and C: yeah, maybe it's real but I garuteed there's no such thing as a gaydar, so all you gotta do boyo is say "I like men" for a discount. It's not like they're gonna make you prove it right then and there...Just lie and get over yourself. It's also free if you're in legit drag. Quadra Village is a multi ethnic low income region and getting affordable entertainment into the Roxy theatre is awesome (way more appropriaye for the neighborhood than another English repertoire piece..god help blue bridge).

So go a bit gay for a day and save yourself ten bucks, get over yourself.

We are seeing this type of pricing structure more and more.... I think it is the way of the future so we better get used to it!

Or, are they going to hidden camera those of us who would go down, and say that our name is 'Janelle', just to save $10!

Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

Welcome to vibrantvictoria djerk.

If you don't mind me asking, where have you seen discriminatory pricing?

Other than all the places that charge more than children or seniors of course?

To RyanLevis, I should welcome you to vibrantvictoria but I don't like your tone, especially for a first post.

If your post is some sort attempt at humor, you might want to try it out on some friends first......you know before pounding it out on a keyboard for all to witness.

Try watching some Bill Burr on youtube.

The bait was VHF's, though. I guess he successfully triggered you.

Made You Look Productions' post asking folks to "like" their white male pricing idea has ...exactly one like two days in. Not that this mean much, but I doubt the idea has gone over well.

I think it's pretty funny myself. Even funnier is the outrage of the Harrumph Brigade, who think comedy's gone downhill ever since Jack Benny's passing.

The Shakespeare shows at Fishermans Wharf park this year had discounts for attendees using "green" transportation to get to the show.

Even the organizer no longer thinks this is funny.

"People seem to be upset by the pricing model. Student and seniors pricing is a similar discriminatory pricing model based off of purchasing power. Statistics support our model for this show, people should relax." - Shiraz

When a comedian is asking folks to relax, the gig is up.

What's unfortunate is the Blue Bridge theatre (old Roxy) is wearing this. Local comedians are trying to remind people that the theatre is not responsible for the pricing of this event, but damage has been done.

And to the comment about Quadra-Hillside being a multi-ethnic neighbourhood, is it lost on the poster that 80%+ of the neighbourhood's make-up is white folks?

Surely you can appreciate the difference between making a choice to rollerblade to an event and being born as a person of a certain race.
