Councillor Michelle Kirby officially isn't running for council. Looks like there'll be 3 non-incumbent seats.

Too bad. She was a reasonably good councillor.

It'll be good to get some fresh blood on council, even thought I don't think that's how I'd describe the 2 current candidates.

I would put council candidates Hazel Braithwaite and Cairine Green right up there with Tara Ney.

I wouldn't. Both are anti-development.

That is what will get them elected.

I voted at UVic on Wednesday. It was really nice seeing the massive line-up, getting into it, and then having a election official approach me and politely tell me "Oh this lineup is for Victoria and Saanich voters, here I'll take you to the Oak Bay desk" where there was no line-up.

Good to see OB Council didnt succumb to the SJW agenda at their swearing in. They all took the Oath of Allegiance

Emterra can’t seem to keep the carts and blue boxes off the sidewalk I know some of my neighbours with mobility scooters and whatnot won’t be able to get down the sidewalk. Emterra workers are either lazy or overworked they also broke one of my blue boxes by throwing it on the ground.
