Ok, I think the problem may be solved. Can you check?

Test

What the hell is that building going up behind the Fernwood parking lot?

The Fernwood NRG is constructing a mixed-use building next to Aubergine.  The massing seems rather large but I think that once finished, it will blend seamlessly into the streetscape.  The views from the apartments planned for the second floor are nothing short of amazing.

Partner up with aubergine and get some biltong on a pizza.

Welcome home, Fugger.

Fernwood sure isn't like it used to be with the George & Dragon, The Soho Bistro, and the Video store on the corner.

I spent a lot of time at the George & Dragon. They made a wicked California Club Wrap! And they had Juke Box I used to play QUEEN songs on every time I went for lunch

Head to Garricks Head for a TouchTunes jukebox!

I used to be a regular down at the Old Garricks Head.  I miss how it used to be, but since it turned into a SUPER PUB I have not been in.  I know they still have the OLD ORIGINAL section open, but it just isn't the same. I look through the windows when I walk by and am sad. I love how when I used to go there it was so simple, and plain, and they always had a real wood fire burning (I assume they still burn a wood fire place?) The Simplicity of it, is what attracted me to it.

Yes, still a wood fireplace but they have a new cleaner-burning insert.

It's different for sure.

Fernwood sure isn't like that anymore.  I mean, personally I really miss the drug dens in the Spring Street ghetto, the open drug deals in Fernwood Square and the shootings!  And the Cornerstone Building was much better all boarded up and crumbling into disrepair.  God damned gentrification amiright?!

In the 1960s the precursor to the CRD identified Fernwood Village as "urban blight" and recommended the entire area be bulldozed.

Tried this place the other day and I don't like the fact that the dough is super thick.... being from Europe I prefer the thin lighter Pizza style.

Other than that service was great.

Ya, I'm the opposite, I like that crust.

Just used their website to order now!

All of the pizzas are pre-designed - there's no "create your own" type of option.

The only thing I noticed was that you can add toppings, but can't remove them.

I wanted to add a topping and remove another - there was no easy way to do that. I ended up adding the new item using their system (which charged for the extra item) and then leaving a note to remove the topping I didn't want.

I am guessing that usually they would just substitute one for the other but in this case it looks like I will be charged.

Looking forward to the pizza, though!

Thanks for your feedback and so glad that you enjoyed your pie!  Our online ordering portal just went live yesterday and I actually haven't had a chance to look it over until now that I've seen your post.

So I hear what you're saying about there being no real "create your own" pizza.  I suppose what one would do is order a Kid's Pizza (basic tomato sauce and mozzarella) and then add the toppings that you like.  But you'd have to figure that out yourself, it's not intuitive.  To your point, though, I did notice that while you can add toppings, there's no way of removing or substituting toppings without being charged for an extra topping.  I confess, I don't know if that's by design or by accident; although I certainly hope that it's the latter!  I will raise this with our General Manager.  Thanks again!

Thanks! The pizza was absolutely delicious but could easily price itself out of the market if a few substitutions were requested.

My $16 pizza became $20 just for substituting ham instead of another topping. Imagine if there were a couple things I wanted to switch around!

So definitely not our intention to gouge people for substitutions, as we allow substitutions at no charge in person or over the phone.

Having now been able to give the functionality of the online ordering portal a through once-over last, we will have a laundry list of requests for Silverware POS to tweak on the site.  In the meantime - and in the interim, we may just recommend this straight on the page if they can't fix them quickly - is that if a customer is looking to substitute toppings, to just call it in the old fashioned way.

I'm glad you brought this up; hopefully our online ordering provider will step up and sort it out.

I think it might be a good idea to put the hours of operation on the website. :)
