It's only a 20 minute drive, though. That's about the same amount of time as driving from Esquimalt to Oak Bay.

I'm excited for Pacific FC's visit to the Wanderers Grounds on June 1st!
It's only a 63 hour drive. Road trip!

I love soccer but not enough to drive out to Langford for it. What a shame that we can't have a proper regional stadium in a central location.
Depends what "region" you are talking about. They are aiming to be a team for, "The Isle". Langford kinda makes sense if they trying to entice people over the Malahat.

Pacific FC adds to attack with signing of Canadian international Issey Nakajima-Farran
“Although I’ve been fortunate to play all over the world the most at home I’ve ever felt was playing for Canada,” said Nakajima-Farran. “Now I have a chance to play in Canada in front of my friends and family doing what I consider to be the best job in the world.”

^ Yeah, it has been pretty awful. We have heard he is gutted. Our chances of winning the inaugural season just took a hit.

CFAX reported it was a ruptured achilles tendon, and that he's already had surgery but will be out for the season.
