The project falls on the Saanich side of the border. I have to wonder whether the development will remain on-hold until the Tim Hortons/Swiss Chalet building can be absorbed, maybe even the Esso station.
The Esso station would be the fly in the ointment, with the 15 or 20 year (or whatever it is) wait-time as part of the clean-up.
But I think Mike's right, in that they'd definitely want the TH and SC, especially as the buildings are relatively small and low, with way over half the land used for surface parking.
