Langford’s picturesque Florence Lake at the foot of Bear Mountain Resort is the setting for an upcoming lake view condominium and townhome project from developer Aquila Pacific.

Ooh a parking stall, how generous.

 

Lucky for all those folk who own houses along the west side of Florence Lake off of Savory Road, they'll have these units towering over them. It won't be too bad if they're going to keep the forest on the hill between Savory and this construction.

Would two parking stalls be more generous?  :teacher: I think some units come with more than one stall.

 

The people living along the lake won't actually see the building, at least not much. There's going to be quite a bit of forest between them and the project, and BM Parkway is quite a bit higher than the lakefront road there. Here's what they see now, and that's not going to change much.

Anyone know if this is a concrete and steel structure? And is this a reputable developer?

^Mike, this is a woodframe project, and the developer is active in Western Canada, with Aquila Pacific a branch of the company for Island-based projects. The developer has two rental towers coming to Esquimalt, and a condo project coming to Esquimalt, too.
