2.5 litres is a U.S. size? Is 2.5 metres a U.S. length?
I dunno, it seems both the cans and the bottles were from the US.
Here is a California dollar store selling the products, as 2.5L bottles and 12oz. cans:

^Interesting concept, selling soda online. Because you know how difficult it can be to find pop.
No delivery for a 99c item.
Orders are shipped directly to our California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas stores for you to conveniently purchase. More importantly, there are NO shipping or handling fees!

It opens on the 12th. And let me tell ya, I like what I see going in there stock-wise. This may even be better than Fields. :lol
Sorry again for the late reply.... I just have to tell you my only purchase there...
One new year eve few years ago, I decided to quit smoking as my new year resolution, and I threw all asthrays. Well, it didn't last more than 3 or 4 days, so I was shopping for new asthrays, I found them and purchased 4 plastic made asthrays that came in very vibrant color. Bad idea, these ashtrays are fire hazads, when I put out cig. on these asthrays, they created bubble on plastic and eventaully poped alone with the cig. which wasn't totally out yet... I just thought it would be funny to mention it, and again what you pay is what you get....

I...purchased 4 plastic made asthrays...
I think the plastic should have been your first clue that they weren't a good idea for ashtrays, if in fact that was their intended purpose. Glad to hear no serious harm was done.

(this is how the black one that I was thinking off http://www.webstaura...tray-6-pack.jpg, execpt those from $1 store was in more vibrant color and does fireworks effect...lol.

Gone suddenly are any name brand chocolate bars. 3 months ago, you could get a whole wide array, at $1 per. They do have big size Glosettes, at $1.25, but that's it.

My work has some vending machines that sold $1 chocolate bars. I loved it until the guy that owned the machines had to abandon them due to illness. I missed them but now I buy them from Costco and resell them to my co-workers. I can hook you up.
Ha! You don't actually...

Walmart still sells full size name brand bars for $1. Was tempted the other day for an Oh Henry, and was surprised at the price being from the 90s.

What I meant to say is that the bars are free but you are encouraged to make a one dollar donation to The Human Fund.

Man, these unlicensed places selling candy and goods in businesses needs to be regulated more closely. I mean, are you even trained in how to properly sell or distribute a candy bar?

I think there is a specific thread on this somewhere, but life is too short to try and search for it....anyhow...
I walked past the former Staples at 747 Fort Street yesterday and noticed "For Lease" signs in the windows. I thought this space was going to become a new downtown dollar store. This is a nice piece of real estate that has been sitting empty for well over 2 years now. Any info?

Dollar Tree is closed Stop Work order due to Asbestos.
That entire building should have been condemned long ago.
Funny how the CoV can slap a closure order on some businesses but others that are breaking laws are allowed to go unfettered.
