Stormin' Norman was also Canada's ambassador to Israel at one time and before that Chief of Staff/Cabinet Secretary to Bill Bennett.
Like me, he's a Montreal and OB boy.

He was also the publisher of the Jerusalem Post, the largest English-language newspaper from Israel.

What info do you have that contradicts the (true to my knowledge) info that. . . .

The Sunkist family has a p/t estate at Landsend.
Barbara Streisand/ Kevin Costner has a p/t place on S. Spring.
And Burton Cummings lives f/t time in Brentwood Bay.

(As for the error I made in naming the man who lives next door to John Travolta's p/t estate near the airport - I already admitted to that in a previous post.)

I'll give you my source - if you'll give me yours.

I'm not sure who you're sources are on that one, but mine tell me he was with a blonde damsel we all know as Marilyn Monroe with Elvis...

As for most of Susan's info, I know some of it to be completely correct, I know people who have worked for the Sunkist Family, both at their Landsend property and their Saltspring island property...

Shirley Temple lived at the Empress for a while after hearing rumours of a kidnapping plot back in California. Her goons got the room directly across from hers & kept their door blocked wide open the entire time.

Lassie was here in the 1940's - they shot 'Lassie Come Home (Part Two)' out near Sooke. Not sure if he stayed at the Empress. Probably not. Most likely the Crystal Court Motel.
