You're in for a world of hurt from the Friends of Beacon Hill Park Thought Police for even deigning to think that!!! They don't take too kindly to usurping natural parkland for unnantural purposes like food vending and congregating.
Given the topic, I was interested in FoBHP's mandate. Here's what I found on their website as some reasons as to why BHP needs defending:
Five City streets are built on Beacon Hill Park land. Covering 30 acres of Park land are Dallas Road, Douglas Street, Heywood Avenue, Park Boulevard and Southgate Street. The Park acreage remaining is only 154.47 acres. Internal Park roads, parking lots and hard surfaces cover another 16 acres. Shiva H Vishnu!!! 20% has been eliminated since 1843, just so people can access it?!? That's like 1/4 acre per year over 167 years! Madness!! My God, what were we thinking! That kind of wanton destruction makes me feel like this:
