How about a drywaller? The guy recommended to us who just finished our ceiling just admitted he's never done a ceiling before. There are far too many imperfections in it, even afer a coat of primer. I'm hoping a skilled mudder can rescue it with a good final skimcoat.

How about recommendations for a full bathroom reno? Obviously I can replace the vanity and toilet myself however the tub is something else altogether since its a jet tub. Need all of it removed and updated with the tub being replaced with a floor to ceiling shower setup. Just starting to seriously look for an outfit to do the work (especially the tub). Any suggestions?

I wished that I knew a good drywaller for you Rob, but that is a tough one to ask someone to fix another tradesman's screw ups.
ASE I have a fantastic plumber, but I am not sure how busy he is and if he does bath renos. PM me if you want his phone number. You will probably need someone else to do a little carpentry work. Every time I have dealt with a tub or a shower, once the old fixtures come out.....the same word is used.......EEEEEEUUUUUUWWWWWEEE

They have been around for a long time, they are fine to deal with. Talk to my guy first and see what sort of deals are available from particular wholesalers through the plumber.

My contractor was great with my kitchen, I'm sure he does bathrooms too as he builds whole houses

That reminds me of a time when a friend was house/cat sitting and had to take the cat to the vet. It took half an hour to get the cat into the carrier. The poor thing resisted and fled at every opportunity.

Yes covered in jeans, an overcoat and gardening gloves I set out with my towel in hand. Two minutes later the cats were all hiding and I was bleeding in three places. Five minutes later I posted to VV.

You will want to double check with them but at one point Bosley's would do nail trimming for free if you are a regular client.

My sister the vet says cat-wrapping is an art, perhaps the most useful thing she ever learned in twelve years of post-secondary education. Done correctly, the creature is mummified with only the peccant part protruding. Not, she emphasizes, a job for the timid or the unsure.

That sounds good in theory but that would require transporting these demons in some sort of container and I would expect that getting the cats into a container may be a risky proposition unless you can legally use tranquilizer darts on them (can you?).
