Been several times (Have not been to the CSV location yet) but I can not explain what a good value the food is here and quick and fresh to boot. The El Gordo is my Favourite for $10 and is a meal in itself.

The location is not listed on the website but is in the same mall as Save on foods and is where the Florist was..

It seems to have developed a bit of a following since it opened a month or two back.

From the FB page. New Location Opening..

Friends and Family of La Taquisa, after much debate and regret we have decided to close our doors at our original Cook Street village location!!! At the end of August we will be closing our doors permanently! Not need to despair, we will be open for regular hours at our Vic West location AND we are ecstatic to announce our NEW location downtown on Blanshard street between Fort and Broughton @1017 Blanshard street. We will keep everyone updated on an opening date and our Grand Opening Party!!!

I can count the times I've eaten at La Taquisa on one hand, despite walking by it pretty much every day. No Interac.

The Vic West location has all sorts of credit and debit options, if I'm not mistaken.

Know it all.

was saddened when it moved out of Cook Street Village - that food court is a disaster (another topic.)  I stop in at the Blanshard Street location whenever I scoot by.  they have added fish to the menu.

The baja shrimp tacos are delicious. The baja shrimp burrito is even better but probably clocks in at around 800 kcal, so I only indulge on occasion.

Good to see them expanding. They're a great business, and their food delivers consistently. Nice people, too.

/\....agreed; we hit up the Vic West location probably once a month. As you say its good consistent fare at reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Definitely nice to see them expanding.
