The law about the sign says "slow to advisory speed shown"

So you are correct that advisory is defined:

ad·vi·so·ry
ədˈvīzərē/
adjective
1.
having or consisting in the power to make recommendations but not to take action enforcing them.

So you have been advised to not do something, and you decide to not listen to that advice, then any and all ill effect that might or might not happen by not taking someone's advice is or is not of your own doing. No matter how beneath someone else's advice or opinion you might or might not believe yourself to be.
Predictive text and a tiny keyboard are not my friends!

So you have been advised to not do something,( No not at all we are being advise to do something )

Not valid in our discussion.

If the square yellow signs says 60kmh then I know I can do it at 60 or 70 or 80 .

i know that if I am driving a larger tractor unit or bus then I will do it at the suggested speed

cops do not give out tickets nor do they set up speed traps at advisory speed signs.

End of story

"yellow diamond is suggested speed, correct."     never seen a yellow diamond speed sign they are square

Pardon, I got them backwards, sorry.

Diamond for warnings, such as turns (but also slippery, animals etc.), square for suggested speed.

Here is the two way left turn lane sign at the end of the lane you arrived in from the right of the two- way lane...okay?

Two way left turn.jpg

But say you came out of the parking lot at Lifestyles Market on the west side of Douglas Street and wanted to head north.

The traffic is approaching from you left, so you wait for an opening to dart out into the middle of Douglas Street into the two-way left turn lane.

Now you are in that lane you want to head north and you need to ease to the right to get into the traffic.

So even though you are in a two way left turn lane the move you want to make is on the sign shown below.

This should be legal...yes/no...

so to end this endless discussion....

Advisory speed signs are suggestions of speeds which are known to be able to be done safely.

they are not mandatory enforceable signs .White ones with Black lettering are.

I again suggest driving and knowledge test every 5 years for all

No...I said I came out of the Red Lion Inn

The traffic is approaching from you left, so you wait for an opening to dart out into the middle of Douglas Street into the two-way left turn lane.

No I didnt say traffic was approaching form my left nor did I dart out. i drove in a normal slow fashion

Now you are in that lane you want to head north and you need to ease to the right to get into the traffic.

No I am in the 2way left turn lane stopped with all teh other traffic waiting for a green light so that I may change lanes into the traffic lane

I am not trying to correct what you did at the Red Lion HB, I am just telling you what I did at a different location.

Person believed to have jumped. So far no evidence. Fire boat should be on scene right now.

Someone at BC Ministry of Highways must have seen my post about the incorrect sign and called up Mainroad to replace it. I just passed by about 45 minutes ago and the correct sign is now in place.

I sent an email to Mainroad the day this whole sign kerfuffle went down. Good to see such a quick response.
