It's unfortunate that the "panorama" view will be of a car junkyard and giant piles of gravel and soil across the Bay Street Bridge. Any chance the shores of Point Ellice will ever get redeveloped or is water access essential to these businesses? It's such an eyesore from Vic West, the JSB, and Selkirk Village.

The future site of the Panorama appears to be temporarily being used as a staging ground for the Bay St Bridge remediation work.

The future site of the Panorama appears to be temporarily being used as a staging ground for the Bay St Bridge remediation work.
Does this mean there will be no progress on Panorama until at least October?

I believe this relates to the Panorama project.
Please note that the opportunity for public comment for the Development Permit with Variances Application No. 00080 for 701 Tyee Road that was scheduled for tonight’s Council meeting, has been cancelled at the request of the applicant.

I am not sure what to think of this. Also, why the introduction of the dark earth tones this late in the game?

I'm not sure why they are varying up the colour palette, but it does appear that the project will now be wood-framed like the previous buildings...

Cool rooftop which they haven't done on any of the other buildings!

Interestingly, looks like this redesign is from December 2019, with the April plans having only minor tweaks

I'd like to know why the redesign. I can't say the dark colour matches the style of the building. Dark colours on blocky buildings make them look a little like a bunker if there aren't the right design elements. This looks very 1970s.
