(maybe they're too small to be called malls...)

I seems that practically every mall in the region is in need of a facelift. I think the only small mall on the upswing is the quiet little St. Andrews mall between Yates and View.

Nootka Court...I know there's a movie theatre & the Bug Zoo's new(ish) home...
Actually the Vic Theatre finally gave up the ghost a couple of months ago (I am, pretty sure there is a thread on that here somewhere). The Bug Zoo thrives as does the Mr. Mixer shop, but calling this place a mall is a bit of a misnomer. It really is just an office building with a couple of retail spaces. Nevetheless it is in dire need of a facelift.

So it's a mall that's trying to be an office building, or it's an office building trying to be a mall. However you look at it it doesn't seem to do either very well, does it?It really is just an office building with a couple of retail spaces.
That whole Crystal Garden block & the nasty parking lot across the street (The Falls) are both getting facelifts so why not!Nevetheless it is in dire need of a facelift.

Having worked in Nootka Court for quite a number of years, I suspect the "why not?" can be answered by lack of interest on the part of the landlord.
