Do we have a thread about Mo:Le? If not, I can't believe we don't, but if we do, my bad.

I usually order the Chinese Dragon Bun, which consists of a fairly large brown bun with scrambled eggs (with a bit of sausage cut into the eggs), a generous helping of avocado on top, a lot of hash browns and some vegetables. If you combine this with Mo:Le's homemade hot sauce the meal is, IMHO, the best breakfast in town. And at $11 it's an incredible bargain.

Last week I had breakfast at this place almost every day and the consistency of the food is worthy of praise.

I agree Mo:Le is great. One question though. How do you afford breakfast out every day, and can I have some of that spare income?;)

It is the best place in town imo to take someone with a special diet... vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, allergic to eggs...

Ah, the secret has to do with leaving my gas guzzling beast behind and cruising around on a skateboard :)

Word. It definitely is.

I can't believe I haven't eaten there yet! I've heard nothing but raves from everyone who has too.

I like the sound of what I just read (damn, that's weird!). Can I order these things for lunch or does the brekky menu change after 11am?

It is just up from Swans on Pandora Ave - 500 Block. Here is the website.
I believe they serve breakfast at lunch time too.

Went there last week and had the Mushroom and Back Bacon Scramble. They put cream cheese in the eggs to make them extra creamy. Homemade jam, a nice strong mocha, and man, was it ever quick! Solid place.

There is a very small article in tomorrow's Monday Mag about the folks behind Mo:le opening a market-type store for Vancouver Island foods at 912 Pandora, across from the Open Door. Apologies if that has already been reported elsewhere.

Thanks for this review. I had heard raves, but somehow got the impression that they only served raw food - I guess because their chef went with the Olympic rowing team and that was part of the story.
I'll be there next week - sounds great!

Will this be next door to Blair Mart? That would be cool!

More or less, ya. I think it's the shop that was creatively designed as the painting company office.

That might boost traffic to Blair Mart too - especially if it is market style. You could get everything you need right there between the two - from fresh vegetables to olives.

Nope, they serve a variety of (mostly unique) dishes.
