I know this has probably been asked before, but is any additional blasting required on the northern side of the pit to level off the excavation, or will this side of the underground parking not go as deep?

Yes there will be blasting if there hasn't been already.

There has been blasting already. It seems like every couple days after the new holes are drilled and the old rock is cleared out. The horn could be a bit louder though. Being just across Blanshard from the site we can only barely hear it with the window open and the wind blowing just right. Fun little surprise shaking every now and then

I was working in the Jack Davis Building during the time of the first phase of the excavation of this site and I recall the initial thrill and eventual annoyance from the blasting that took place then. For the sake of those located nearby now I hope there isn't too much more blasting required to complete the hole.

Think I just felt a blast from the site. They were placing the blast mats over the lunch hour. 

 

That site is visibly progressing by the day.

It would be need to have something dramatic across from the arena, and at the entrance to downtown

Townline purchased the Radius property after the Radius project went belly up. They've owned it since 2008 or 2009.
