We can still see what his platform would have looked like.

/\ very interesting...

He certainly had a lot of meat in his platform, and not the usual political generalities which most politicians spew out on command.

Some examples for better or worse, it's a moot point now:

"Make tenant responsibility a key value and expectation"

Fair point, but unusual to be in a plank in your platform. Probably goes over well with the landlord crowd.

"
As Mayor, I will:
  • Break ground on a new art gallery within the first two years of my mandate,
  • Seek opportunities to support community level art,
  • Investigate the opportunity for special zoning to provide work space for local artists,
  • Seek out opportunities for youth participation in the arts including a graffiti wall where local youth can compete and create."
  • "Develop a clear process so that developers understand expectations but are also rewarded with a more streamlined and transparent process,"
"A zero tolerance policy for public drug and alcohol use."

Wow he lost my vote on the last one. I think we should be liberalizing the laws for the consumption of alcohol in public.

Someone should run on "Wine in public parks" I would vote for them.

Wow he might have just won my vote with the graffiti wall if he were still running. Can we get another candidate to promise us one? How about Dean?
Nowadays most people die of a sort of creeping common sense, and discover when it is too late that the only things one never regrets are one's mistakes.
